Marsyangdi River

One of the top 10 white water runs in the world Marsyangdi River drains the north slope of the Annapurna mountain, the Marsyangdi starts with raging rapids and heart pumping action and ends with a gentle paddle through beautiful natural scenery It is steep River with some very challenging rapids and is regarded as one of the best white water runs in the world. Opened in 1996 and yields some of the most exciting class IV-V White water in Nepal , full commitment from both crew and guide required to raft in this spectacular River.

Itinerary:
Day 01: 7/8 hours drive to Besisahar from Kathmandu. Overnight at camp in Besisahar.
Day 02: After breakfast 2 hours trekking to Khudi, Nepali lunch at khudi. After lunch briefing about the river and raft, this is a most knuckle gripping section of the river so pay attention on the guide instructions. Enjoy the delicious dinner at Besisahar and overnight at Camp.
Day 03: After early breakfast at RBC we drive to Bhoteodar where we get on the river. We start rafting and kayaking where the water comes out of the tunnel, we have lunch on the riverbank and continue paddling class III water down to Turture. We drive to Khudi where we camp for the night.
Day 04: We start our morning with a trek upriver from the camp to our put in at Nadi. We are now in the world class waters of upper Marsyangdi. This stretch is for experienced kayakers only. The raft team will need their experience from the previous day. We paddle class V and class IV water, challenging and continuous, with no room for mistakes. We take out after a really challenging day at Khudi and camp for the night.   rafts ends
